It could prove to be the defining weekend in the PSL title race, and with no one Sundowns on the slide, their rivals have a chance to make up some valuable ground. Pirates head to Cape Town with revenge on their minds, while Supersport look to continue their good run at the FNB Stadium. With only 4 weeks to go, these teams know, there's no room for error.

English Premier League Week 36 Preview
The Premier League is hurtling toward its finale, with this weekend being perhaps the defining one of the season. With three weeks left of this intriguing season, there is still plenty to play for throughout the table. Of course all eyes will be on The Etihad on Monday night for what is being billed as “The biggest ever derby in the Premier League”. Yes, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but as with last week’s El Clasico, it certainly will be the biggest match of the season. So best for last, let’s start at the beginning why don’t we.

Wigan vs Newcastle Preview
Wigan vs Newcastle, EPL, Saturday 28th April, 16:00, DW Stadium
All eyes are firmly focused on the top of the Barclays Premiership table as the Manchester clubs fight for supremacy of England, but the DW Stadium will be abuzz this Saturday as the Latics continue their fight for Premiership survival and host Champions League seeking Newcastle United. The hosts, just like last season, are finishing well and have come into fine form in recent weeks. Their chairman should be commended for their resurgence as there was no mention of a possible sacking of Roberto Martinez during some really trying times. Newcastle were plying their trade in the second tier of English football two seasons ago, but now find themselves knocking on the door of the big boys in Europe.

Week 10 of Super Rugby ushers in the halfway stage of the tournament, and this is where things begin to get tricky. The fight for victory and bonus-points gets even more heated as teams seek to stay ahead of their conference counterparts. Mistakes at this stage can prove costly. Byes for the Bulls, Rebels and Sharks see them out of action this week, but we still have six matches of blood, sweat and tears for your betting and reading pleasure!Tuesday, 24 April 2012
Zurich Classic Preview
Zurich Classic, PGA Tour, 26th - 29th April, TPC Louisiana
TPC Louisiana generally plays fairly easy and you can expect to see low scores this weekend. The generous fairways on this 7,340 yard par 72 course mean wayward drives are not heavily punished, but the key is going to be hitting it stiff as the greens can offer some nasty surprises. Avoid the bunkers and get it close and you’re looking golden. If you find yourself in the sand… well good luck getting out as the pot bunkers are notoriously difficult. Who can win this one? Let’s see.

Ballantine's Championship Preview
Ballantine’s Championship, 26th - 29th April, Blackstone Golf Club
The Ballantine’s Championship tees off this week at Blackstone Golf Club in Seoul. The relatively new event (it started in 2008) is co-sanctioned by the European Tour, Asian Tour and Korean PGA which means that there are a host of relatively unknowns who could find themselves in the places come Sunday. So far the winners have been relatively big names and include Graeme McDowell, Thongchai Jaidee, Marcus Fraser and Lee Westwood. As I see it, anyone can place but the winner will be one of the more established players. Let’s try see who it could be.

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich Semi-Final 2nd Leg
Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich, UCL, Wednesday 25th February, 20:45, Santiago Bernabeu
Everything is perfectly poised going into the second leg. After a bit of cat and mouse in Munich, both teams would’ve been happy with their respective positions. Bayern have them a first leg lead, but Real managed to grab themselves a vital away goal. The tables will be turned at the Bernabeu, with the onus on Madrid to do the attacking, with Bayern will be hoping to use the pace and trickery of Robben and Ribery to hit Mourinho’s team on the break.
