Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: Andrew FORTUNE - Trainer: Yvette BREMNER

Andrew Fortune has made the trip to PE and begins his day with the favourite STALLONE in this contest. The son of Cataloochee has shown decent form in most of his six starts and more importantly ran on well for second, last time out. He doesn't take on the strongest of fields and should give Fortune a winning start at this meeting.

Jockey: Warren KENNEDY - Trainer: Yvette BREMNER

The Bremner stable holds a strong hand in this contest but DOUBLE NELSON has to be the right one of the pair. He has come a long way since his maiden triumph and has won and placed in feature company. He is extremely well-weighted in this allowance plate and has no concerns over this c & d. He comfortably accounted for his stablemate CAVALAR over this c & d on the run behind Albert Mooney in a feature three starts ago and is better off at the weights.

Mitch Wiese
Jockey: Deryl DANIELS - Trainer: Mitchell WIESE

JUPITER SYMPHONY has done very well since relocating to PE and stayed on strongly for a close third in yielding conditions over nine furlongs, recently. He also finished well for third over this c & d behind Skippyjon Jones three starts ago and holds many of today's rivals safe on that outing. The son of Requiem is handily drawn at 2 and could give jockey Daniels a winning ride on his comeback.

Jockey: Andrew FORTUNE - Trainer: Yvette BREMNER

An interesting contest that could result in a battle between Fortune and his son Aldo Domeyer, who partners COPPER PARADE and SEDGE, respectively. However, the strong preference is for the veteran jockey who rides former Grade 1 winner, COPPER PARADE. This son of Lecture was formerly with the Ramsden yard and Fortune should know him really well which is a big bonus. He is at his best over sprints and was only pipped in the final strides by SEDGE over six furlongs in a feature last time. He is now 2.5kgs better off with his conqueror but more importantly is at home over the minimum trip.

Race 8: LYDIA LOPOKOVO(5) (Each Way)
Jockey: Warren KENNEDY - Trainer: Yvette BREMNER

LYDIA LOPOKOVO is seldom beaten far and she ran on nicely for a close fourth over six furlongs at Fairview last time despite having excuses. She is suited by the drop in trip and should give a good account of herself.
