Race 4: SYLVIE(2)
Race 6: AGRA(2)

Karl Neisius
Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: Karl NEISIUS - Trainer: Greg ENNION

CHANGING HEART has shown plenty of promise to date. She was badly outpaced against male rivals over the minimum trip last time but took off late for a close fourth. She is back against her own sex here and should love every bit of this extra furlong. Having said that, she did flop in her penultimate outing over this c & d but may have raced too prominently on that occasion. Karl Neisius is sure to give the daughter of Toreador a chance this time around and she has strong claims here.

Race 6: AGRA(2) - TOP BET
Jockey: Karis TEETAN - Trainer: Justin SNAITH

AGRA has always shown tremendous ability and three wins from five starts underlines that. She has her issues though and returns from another break. However, she showed her class when she thrashed highly rated subsequent winner Vivalda on the latter's home turf in PE over 1100m last time. She has been sparingly raced by her conditioner, who has found the perfect race for his charge and she is well treated by the weights today. The Snaith yard usually gets their runners fit and ready and she could take some beating in this line-up.

Aldo Domeyer
Jockey: Aldo DOMEYER - Trainer: Paddy KRUYER

SECRET COMMAND is the full-brother to Grade 1 winning All Is Secret and his debut victory showed that he has plenty of class about him too. The son of Captain Al went off as favourite and showed good speed over this c & d. However, he was tackled strongly over the final 300m's but found a second gear to draw off and win easily in the end. That run would have brought him on considerably and though he tackles much stronger in feature race company today, he already looks well above average and could be destined for bigger things.

Race 8: KITTI CAT(3)
Jockey: Grant BEHR - Trainer: Dean KANNEMEYER

This is another interesting juvenile contest and KITTI CAT should again have the measure of this field after she ran on smartly to beat ALASCAN MAIDEN in a feature over this c & d, four weeks ago. Admitte- dly, the runner-up is entitled to have improved as that was only her second start but the manner in which the top rating ran on, suggests that she could still be the right one.

Race 9: BARREL 'N BUTT(8) (Each Way)
Jockey: Christopher PULLER - Trainer: Mike BASS

BARREL 'N BUTT has his issues but had promising form prior to his lengthy 35 week absence. He needed his comeback sprint in a workrider's contest and will strip much fitter today. Interestingly, he fini- shed just under two lengths third behind subsequent Grade 1 placed Sanshaawes over 1700m on this track three starts ago. He is drawn in pole and should take a power of beating, if reproducing his best effort. He does seem to have a preference for soft underfoot conditions.
