Jockey: Sean CORMACK - Trainer: Dennis DRIER

SUPREME DYNASTY was fancied and she went off as favourite when she made a cracking debut over this c & d, six weeks ago. The Dennis Drier inmate was slow into stride on that occasion but she made eye-catching late progress and was only beaten half a length into 2nd at the line. The daughter of Dynasty would have come on appreciably with the experience and she should go very close in tonight's opening contest. The only slight worry is that she must jump on terms to make use of her good barrier.

Jockey: Alec FORBES - Trainer: Chris ERASMUS

RISKY ROSCO has done well since joining his new yard and in fact, is yet to finish out of the first four from as many starts. The son of Atso only tired late when a close 4th against stronger opposition over this c & d last time and that effort makes him a major contender tonight.

Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Mike MILLER

BOLD ATTITUDE is a long-time maiden but he has found his best form in recent outings and tonight could be his night. This is his best distance and he ran on strongly for 2nd under Delpech, three weeks ago. His yard has come extremely well since that effort and the son of Antonius Pius is suited to racing on this track. His good draw is a major plus and Delpech retains the ride.

Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Sean TARRY

These low-key fillies and mares handicaps are often very tricky but that may not be the case here as an above-average sort in the form of SILVER TALE looks ahead of the handicapper and she can take full advantage of that. The well-bred Sean Tarry inmate had two poor runs before she relished the ground and made big improvement despite a slow start, three weeks ago. The daughter of Silvano found outside betting support that day and she ran on well to just get the better of the runner-up by a head. Howev- er, the pair skipped just over five lengths clear of the 3rd placed finisher. Furthermore, the runner- up crushed her maiden rivals by almost six lengths in her next outing which gives the form an almighty boost. This three-year old bay filly has tons of room for improvement and she should be up to the task of taking on stronger rivals tonight.

Race 6: DIAMOND KING(14)
Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Tony RIVALLAND

As is the norm in this annual Grade 3 contest, this is a wide open affair and an upset looks very likely. DIAMOND KING promised so much early on in his career and although he hasn't lived up to expectations, he hasn't been far off and has gradually come down in the merit ratings. He is a versatile sort but is guilty of starting slowly. However, he has good memories of this c & d for he won the Guineas Trial here and now has his third run after the layoff. He has the class to compete against tonight's rivals and shoulders a light mass of 52kgs, with the expert services of De Melo.
