Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Darryl HODGSON

The blinkers have made a massive difference to WINTER TRADE who has jumped on terms in his last two starts. However, he was never dangerous over seven furlongs last time but produced a career best run over this c & d in his penultimate outing and that form has already been franked. The son of Western Winter meets another competitive line-up but he has his third run after the rest and should go very close.

Jockey: Piere STRYDOM - Trainer: Brett CRAWFORD

HARRYHOPEITHAPPENS benefitted from his debut effort as he showed marked improvement when trying seven furlongs in his second start. The Brett Crawford inmate found outside betting support and he ran on strongly for a close 2nd, beaten just a neck in a competitive line-up over this c & d. He should build on that outing and despite a wide barrier, the son of Jay Peg should be competitive with Strydom in the irons.

Jockey: Bernard FAYD'HERBE - Trainer: Joey RAMSDEN

ACT OF WAR was defeated by a short head on debut but the top class colt has won five on the bounce since. He was brilliant when winning the Cape Classic over seven furlongs under a big mass in his penultimate start and then expectedly thrashed his field over this c & d, four weeks ago. The son of Dynasty holds many of today's rivals safe on recent performances and he will be cherry-ripe on his third run after the rest. The only slight worry is that Fayd'Herbe climbs aboard him for the first time in a race but still the Ramsden inmate will take a power of beating.

Jockey: Sean CORMACK - Trainer: Dennis DRIER

JET AGLOW is a top class mare who had a great last season and she could profit from the absence of the brilliant Beach Beauty. She had a satisfactory seasonal debut behind the champion Legislate over this c & d recently and she finished a neck in front of READYTOGORIGHTNOW that day. The pair meet on identical weight terms today but the daughter of Jet Master will strip fitter and she jumps from pole position. She should be very competitive despite taking on male rivals once again.

Jockey: Sean CORMACK - Trainer: Brett CRAWFORD

This is a wide open fillies and mares handicap and plenty of caution is advised. There isn't a natural pacesetter which makes things pretty interesting but the lightly raced five-year old mare SAINT MARY is expected to be right up there and cause the upset. Interestingly, half of the field are represented by the SAINT SOPHIA formline over this c & d on 16/11. The top selection lacked a strong finish when beaten just under three lengths on that occasion but she is now 2.5kgs better than her conqueror. She has scope for further improvement and gets the services of an in-form jockey
