Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Joey RAMSDEN

ICY WINTER AIR has come good since her long break and she finished well for 2nd behind NONKI POO over this c & d, two weeks ago. The Ramsden inmate may have still just needed that effort and she will be cherry-ripe on her third run after the break. She meets her conqueror on 3kgs better terms and has plenty of scope for further improvement. She has a lively chance of reversing the form.

Jockey: Gareth WRIGHT - Trainer: Shane HUMBY

BIG ED is improving quickly and he stayed on strongly for 2nd, beaten just one length by a subsequent winner over nine furlongs on this track last time. He was just over half a length in front of the 4th placed runner, EXCLUSIVE KNIGHT on that occasion but has more scope for improvement. The manner in which he came back at the finish that day, suggests that the son of Horse Chestnut will relish the extra distance. The lightly raced four-year old colt has a strong chance of finally ending his stables lean spell without a winner.

Jockey: Sean CORMACK - Trainer: Dennis DRIER

The three-year olds at the top of the weights can rise to the challenge and dominate the outcome of this low-key handicap. The Dennis Drier trained son of Trippi, TRIPTIQUE has improved with each of his three runs and he drew off to record an impressive maiden victory over this c & d, three weeks ago. The bay colt has obvious scope for improvement and his conditioner rates him. He has a big mass but can defy the odds.

Jockey: Sean CORMACK - Trainer: Dennis DRIER

The Dennis Drier yard saddles a trio of runners in this graduation contest but GUINESS is certainly the stable elect. Last season's Grade 1 winner was rested for 23 weeks after his poor last run over seven furlongs but the break would have done him the world of good and this is his seasonal debut. The Seventh Rock colt won't be fully wound up but he oozes class and should still prove very tough to beat.

Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Justin SNAITH

The Justin Snaith yard holds a decent hand in this competitive handicap and their lesser fancied inmate GRAPE VINE could cause the upset. This son of Elusive Fort hasn't lived up to expectations after he produced a solid maiden win over a mile but he was given a poor ride by the visiting overseas jockey last time out. He showed fair post maiden form over shorter in two previous starts and this nine furlong trip will be right up his alley. He shoulders a handy galloping mass of 53.5kgs and jumps from gate 3.
