Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: Colin SCOTT

This is a very competitive sprint handicap and a thrilling finish is expected. BURRWOOD moved up menacingly before finding the speedy ROYALSECURITYPOWER too hot to handle over this c & d a fortnight ago. However, Muzi Yeni would have learnt about the six-year old gelding better and he could have him much closer than usual, this time around. Furthermore, he is 1.5kgs to the good and should again be involved in the finish.

Jockey: Derryl DANIELS - Trainer: Glen KOTZEN

ELUSIVE LADY has improved with each of her four career outings and her last two polytrack sprints have been particularly pleasing. She stayed on well to finish 2nd best over six furlongs last time, despite racing wide. That effort clearly indicated that the Kotzen inmate is searching for further and her conditioner has obliged. The extra furlong will be right up her alley and she has already had the benefit of the turn. Of course, she had a fair second start on the grass.

Jockey: Alec FORBES - Trainer: Alistair GORDON

BLIZZARD BELLE has recaptured her best form since trying the polytrack. She ran on well to defeat a subsequent winner over six furlongs last time but did suffer a hefty penalty. Having said that, she is effective over this extra furlong and on the grass. The daughter of Western Winter meets similar opposition and she should be competitive.

Jockey: Donovan DILLON - Trainer: Duncan HOWELLS

The Proper Posh formline on 24/10 over ten furlongs on the polytrack could dominate the outcome of this final event. The Duncan Howells yard is well represented in this contest and PRINCESS BEACH is a confident first selection. The daughter of Dynasty has improved with each of her four starts and she ran on steadily for 2nd behind Proper Posh in the contest referred to above. Her penultimate run proved that she is effective on the turf and with the reserve runners likely to be withdrawn, her stallgate may not be that bad.

Jockey: Jarred SAMUEL - Trainer: Ivan MOORE

LA PRIMA has recaptured her best form since teaming up with today's jockey in her last three starts. She transferred her good recent polytrack form onto the turf when she stayed on for a close 5th over this c & d, three weeks ago. She did shift her ground in the closing stages that day so the equipping of blinkers could be ideal and she should be competitive here.
