Jockey: Sean VEALE - Trainer: Garth PULLER

BRACHETTO has improved smartly with experience and the form of his latest outing on the polytrack has worked out. He would have strengthened during his 15 week break and should continue to improve. This testing six furlongs up the straight will suit him perfectly and he should go very well.

Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Gavin VAN ZYL

SAINTE CAMILLE has clearly improved since the winter break and she produced two very smart comeback runs on the polytrack over this trip. She fought hard before going down a head last time but has her third run after the layoff today. The daughter of Lateral is equally effective on the grass as she showed when she stayed on for a close 4th behind Modern Muse at Greyville in May. She is drawn in pole position and should take a power of beating.

Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: Pat LUNN

PREAMBLE found her best form when she surprisingly showed lots of toe and then fought on gamely to hold off a highly rated three-year old over this c & d in yielding conditions last Sunday. She picked up a four pound penalty for her troubles but is back against her own sex today and can stake another serious claim with Yeni up.

Jockey: Warren KENNEDY - Trainer: Mike DE KOCK

PEACE KEEPER had excuses but he still produced a fair debut over six furlongs on the polytrack, two weeks ago. He was understandably green on that occasion but the experience would have brought him on smartly and his pedigree suggests that he will relish the step-up to the mile. He is well drawn at gate 3 and should make natural improvement.

Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Kumaran NAIDOO

These Chapter Challenge events are often extremely competitive and this one isn't any different. The formline to follow could be the KING'S GOLD c & d run two weeks ago and the top selection is the six year old gelding, SON OF ORIMANDES. The Kom Naidoo inmate has turned his career around since reverting to sprints and being equipped with blinkers. He beat some useful opposition over this c & d three runs back and was pipped by the nine-year old latter, two weeks ago. He is now 1.5kgs better off with his conqueror and will strip fitter.
