Jockey: Weichong MARWING - Trainer: Leon ERASMUS

This is a moderate maiden line-up and the long-time maiden WILHEMINA can finally get that deserved first career win. She continues to hold her form and has met some useful sorts along the way. The daughter of Spanish Harlem gets the services of Weichong Marwing and that could make all the differen- ce.

Jockey: S'manga KHUMALO - Trainer: Sean TARRY

HALVE THE DEFICIT missed the Spring campaign, probably due to a setback but his conditioner has given him the necessary time-off and that could yield dividends. The classy son of Right Approach had excuses for his poor last run in a Grade 1 and had solid Gauteng form before that. He was pipped by Killua Castle (runner-up in Summer Cup) in the Jubilee Handicap over nine furlongs and that outlines his class. He will need a few runs to reach peak fitness but the six-year old gelding is well in at the weights here and he enjoys this track. He races fresh so this trip may not be a major issue and he should go close.

Jockey: Callan MURRAY - Trainer: Mike DE KOCK

THE CENTENARY had lots of issues whilst with her former conditioner but she looks over them now and appears a smart stayer in the making. The daughter of Mastercraftsman was always going to relish the ground on her pedigree and she didn't disappoint in her two comeback runs. She won an ordinary workri- der's maiden over this trip in her penultimate start before showing real class when thrashing her pinnacle stakes rivals over 2400m, two weeks ago. The Mike de Kock inmate should continue to blossom and despite her six pound penalty, she is still well clear of the handicapper's assessment. The three- year old filly has her third run after the break and she will again enjoy the services of the 2.5kgs claiming apprentice who partnered her last time.

Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: Geoff WOODRUFF

TEE JAY AR has issues but there is no doubting his ability. He should have finished much closer in his last start in a strong field over six furlongs. His yard is fresh from their brilliant day at this venue last Saturday and this son of Flying Spur will be cherry-ripe on his third run after the rest. He drops heavily in class and should take a power of beating.

Jockey: Karl ZECHNER - Trainer: Devin LITTLE

LUCKY GAMBLER has enjoyed most of her success over this c & d and she ran an improved race in a pinnacle event over 2400m at the Vaal last time. She was just over two lengths adrift of the runner-up SQUARE DANCE that day but is now 3kgs better off at the weights. She drops in class and merits respect in this handicap.
