Jockey: Marco V/RENSBURG - Trainer: Stuart PETTIGREW

FOREST VIEW produced his career best effort over this c & d in his penultimate outing. He had excuses for his last turf run but will be a major contender from a good draw in this contest. He has had just two efforts on the sand and has scope for improvement.

Jockey: Ryan MUNGER - Trainer: Dominic ZAKI

The formline behind Posh In Paris over this c & d can feature prominently in this maiden event. BODEGA produced her career best effort when she lacked extra late in finishing 3rd in that event. She was exactly three lengths adrift of the runner-up WALLASEY that day but her apprentice jockey may have moved too soon on her. He will certainly know her better this time around and has much more scope than the limited latter. Moreover, her yard has come to form and she can finish much closer this time.

Jockey: Marthinus MIENIE - Trainer: Alec LAIRD

WALKING ON AIR has done well in recent starts and she showed plenty of guts to hold off JUMPSTART and win her penultimate outing over this c & d. The Alec Laird inmate picked up a hefty seven pound penal- ty for that win but she has lots more improvement to come on this surface. She is drawn well once again and meets the latter on 1.5kgs better terms.

Jockey: Randall SIMONS - Trainer: Paul MATCHETT

SEA KNIGHT is a speedy sort that has shown his best form on the sand. He is lightly raced and only tired late behind a subsequent winner over this c & d in his penultimate effort. The son of Argonaut has often attracted market support which suggests that he shows good work back home and there is still plenty of improvement to come.

Jockey: Ryan MUNGER - Trainer: Paul MATCHETT

DOUBLE BIND came back to his best when he skated clear of his rivals to win his last start over this c & d, recently. The victory earned him a seven pound penalty but shoulders a handy galloping mass and can still be up to the task of following up against this stronger company. He is well drawn once again The Tyrone Zackey inmate's AUGUSTINUS and MIRAGE DRIVE are major contenders in this field but they do concede chunks of weight to their rivals.
