Jockey: Ian STURGEON - Trainer: Johan Janse v/Vuuren

C'EST CHIQUE bounced back to her best form when she stayed on to be 2nd best over this c & d, two weeks ago. Her yard is fresh from their Grade 2 victory ten days ago and must certainly be followed in days to come. This daughter of Miesque's Approval is lightly raced and has good room for improvement. She merits healthy respect.

Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Sean TARRY

DREAM OF GLORY found the market support and produced a smart debut over 1160m on Summer Cup day recently. He challenged strongly that day and was only beaten a neck into 2nd at the wire. That experience will be priceless for the son of Dynasty who is extremely well-related. His pedigree suggests that he will relish this extra furlong and there should be lots of improvement to come.

Jockey: Weichong MARWING - Trainer: Ormond FERRARIS

HAWKER HURRICANE has shown promise in her three runs thus far and she seems the type that will improve over more ground. She was again running on late over 1700m on this course last time and the daughter of Ideal World will love this extra 300m today. She should continue to improve and could take some beating today.

Jockey: Piere STRYDOM - Trainer: Gavin VAN ZYL

VINO VERITAS has been a late maturer but she still has lots more scope for improvement. She may have needed her comeback run but put up a more than creditable effort in a feature over nine furlongs last time out. The daughter of Silvano was returning from a 13 week break and she was making her seasonal debut but she only tired late into 5th, despite pulling in the early stages. She will strip much fitt- er this time around and although she has work to do at the weights with the three-year olds, she has experience on her side and can make that count. Piere Strydom gets the ride.

Jockey: Deon SAMPSON - Trainer: Barend BOTES

DELIGHTED bounced right back to her best when she held on well to win her last contest over this trip on the sand, recently. Her form shows that she is equally effective on the grass and in fact, she was beaten a neck into a close 3rd, the last time she raced over this c & d in September. She is drawn near the speedy IT'SGOTTOBEME and should stake a serious claim.
