Jockey: Grant V/NIEKERK - Trainer: Yvette BREMNER

FIRTH OF CLYDE was poor in his last two runs but he could prefer sprinting. He produced his career best effort when running on for 2nd over six furlongs on this course prior to that and has finally cracked a good draw. The well-related son of Right Approach tries blinkers for the first time and he can stake a serious claim, if reproducing his best form.

Jockey: Grant V/NIEKERK - Trainer: Yvette BREMNER

SAIL INTOTHECLOUDS brings solid recent turf form into this contest and the form of her last outing was franked by the 4th placed finisher. This daughter of Sail From Seattle was outrun late into 2nd that day and she should continue to improve. Her polytrack record appears a poor one but she was close-up against male rivals behind Zenith over the minimum trip in August last year. She is the horse to beat.

Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: Glen KOTZEN

CARELESS LOVE was below-par when trying further in her last two starts. She produced the form of her life when racing over this c & d prior to that and drops in class now. The daughter of National Emblem is well drawn here and despite taking on competitive opposition, she is clearly the horse to beat with Gavin Lerena in the irons.

Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: Steven V/RENSBURG

The three-year olds could dominate proceedings in this final event and SCUZAMI gets the nod. The Windrush gelding won his maiden at just the second attempt, suggesting that he is above-average but he hasn't set the world alight since. However, he has produced some decent efforts on this surface, of which his latest outing ranks right up there. He finished a creditable 4th behind Principled in a pinnacle stakes contest over this c & d when equipped with blinkers for the first time. The form of that race has been fair and he drops heavily in class today. The bay gelding is best in on official ratings and should take some beating with Muzi Yeni in the irons.

Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Alan GREEFF

The Alan Greeff yard holds a strong hand in this low-key handicap and the stable elect NEW SPRING gets the nod. The Goldkeeper gelding has turned around his fortunes since racing on the polytrack and he has fair recent form. He generally runs on late but has finally cracked a good draw and should be competitive.
