Race 7: BOLT OF LIGHT(1)
Race 9: NEW SPRING(6)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: Grant PADDOCK

OTHER BRUDDA has improved since relocating to PE and his two local efforts have been solid. He built on his fair sprint in his penultimate run but was 2nd best over this c & d, three weeks ago. He finished two lengths clear of the 3rd placed runner on that occasion and should improve further today. The son of Rebel King meets an ordinary line-up and he is definitely the one to beat.

Jockey: Stallone NAIDOO - Trainer:  Yvette BREMNER

FUHGEDABOUDIT has been moderate in her last two runs on the turf but she has produced her best local form on this surface. She ran on well to finish runner-up over this c & d prior to her nine week rest. The daughter of Right Approach will be cherry-ripe on her third run back today and reverting to the polytrack is exactly what she needs. Her good draw makes her a major contender.

Race 7: BOLT OF LIGHT(1)
Jockey: Raymond DANIELSON - Trainer: Tara LAING

BOLT OF LIGHT has turned his fortunes around since arriving in PE and he was rewarded for consistency when he got up late to deny subsequent winner Zoo Biscuit over 2400m on the turf, four weeks ago. The son of Dynasty has shown his versatility and despite picking up a hefty six pound penalty, he does have more scope for improvement locally. He has done very well on this surface and finished runner-up in both his c & d efforts. He shoulders a big mass but should be competitive in this line-up.

Race 8: PEGWELL BAY(6)
Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: Justin SNAITH

PEGWELL BAY has poor recent turf form but she has blossomed on this surface and is a huge contender here. The Snaith inmate produced two smart efforts on the polytrack and she ran on well to beat some useful sorts over this c & d in her penultimate effort. She meets similar opposition now and has the benefit of pole position. She gets Muzi Yeni in the irons and must be respected.

Race 4: LADY SILVIA(8) (Each Way)
Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Alan GREEFF

Only a small field of eight runners go to post for this low-key handicap and with many of them having decent credentials, it should make for an exciting finish. LADY SILVIA is holding her form extremely well and she has become a polytrack specialist. The daughter of Silvano loves racing on this surface and her record bears testament to that. She usually produces a strong late run and did just that when beaten little over a neck in her penultimate start. She was beaten just over two lengths by subsequent winner SCARLET BERRY on this track on 3/10 but now meets that rival on 8kgs better terms and this trip suits her perfectly.
