Jockey: Richard FOURIE - Trainer: Justin SNAITH

ULTIMATE DOLLAR is the form selection here and can hand the Snaith/Fourie partnership a quick double. The three-year old son of Jet Master has improved with each and every run and he finished strongly for a close 2nd over this c & d, two weeks ago, despite racing wide. He finished just over two lengths in front of the 3rd placed finisher, PANGA PANGA that day and that experience of racing around the turn will stand him in good stead. He will take a power of beating from his good draw.

Jockey: Grant V/NIEKERK - Trainer: Mike BASS

GUEST OF HONOUR has shown useful ability but may have just needed her comeback run after a short break recently. She caught the eye with a smart debut over the minimum trip around the turn at Durbanville, prior to that and she will strip fitter today. That experience around the bend will be vital and the half-sister to the top class Crimson Palace should relish this extra furlong. She should take a power of beating.

Jockey: Bernard FAYD'HERBE - Trainer: Joey RAMSDEN

SILVER IMAGE continues his decent staying form and he has improved since being equipped with blinkers. He has met some useful sorts along the way and is overdue his next career win. The son of Silvano ran on strongly for a close 3rd behind Current Event (finished close-up in a subsequent feature) over 2400m last time and is a major contender against today's lesser opposition. However, he will receive stiff competition from the three-year old MY WORLD.

Jockey: Heavelon v/d HOVEN - Trainer: Vaughan MARSHALL

BOLD VAR showed exactly what he is capable of when benefitting from a 4kgs apprentice allowance, two weeks ago. The speedy son of Var was caught late over six furlongs that day but this minimum trip will suit him perfectly and he drops in class. He is reunited with the apprentice and should give another very good account of himself.

Jockey: MJ BYLEVELD - Trainer: Greg ENNION

This is a very tricky fillies and mares handicap but there are some improving three-year olds who could give their older counterparts a tough time. MOONSONG MAGIC had shown promise in her first two runs but she made huge improvement when making her debut on the summer course last time. The daughter of Windrush clearly relished the longer run-in as she pulverized her maiden rivals by almost five lengths over the seven furlongs. She takes a steep rise in class today but the extra furlong will suit her perfectly and she has lots more to offer.
