Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: Corne ORFFER - Trainer: Brett CRAWFORD

KINGS ADVISOR has relished going over ground and he showed good improvement in his last two starts over a mile. He was close-up on both those occasions and was caught late by a smart sort from a poor draw, four weeks ago. The son of Rebel King is very well drawn today and this slight drop in distance should suit him perfectly. He meets a competitive line-up but should go close to winning.

Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Eric SANDS

ELEN LUYDDOG boasts promising form and she reverts to sprinting today. She was outrun late over seven furlongs last time but is possibly even better over this distance and the daughter of Trippi has strong claims of going one better.

Jockey: MJ BYLEVELD - Trainer: Vaughan MARSHALL

PLAIN OF WISDOM tired badly when perhaps finding six furlongs too far for him last time and he probab- ly still just needed the outing. He has some issues and has been rested on a few occasions. However, the Captain Al gelding showed exactly what he is capable of with a promising penultimate performance over this c & d.

Race 7: DO BE SNAPPY(3)
Jockey: Fareed ANTHONY - Trainer: Ronnie SHEEHAN

There are some decent three-year olds on display in this handicap and they should dominate the finish. DO BE SNAPPY has finally cracked a good draw and that will be significant. He has shown promise and ran on strongly for 2nd over seven furlongs in a similar contest, recently. His maiden victory came over this extra furlong and he should give another very good account of himself.

Race 5: THAT COWBOY KID(8) (Each Way)
Jockey: Corne ORFFER - Trainer: Brett CRAWFORD

This is a very open and intriguing contest as a few of the form runners have stamina doubts. THAT COWBOY KID has produced both of his career wins over a mile but only tired late in his one start over ten furlongs so this trip could suit. The son of Silvano enjoyed the blinkers as he bounced back to form and caused a major upset last time out.
