Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Charles LAIRD

ROY'S GUL GUL HA found some betting support and despite being green, he produced a fair c & d debut, two weeks ago. The well-related son of Var made steady progress for 3rd, beaten five lengths at the wire after shifting his ground. The experience would have brought him on and he should have natural improvement to come.

Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Pat LUNN

CORRESOLVE has done well in recent starts on this track and all of his best career runs have come with De Melo aboard. He stayed on for a decent 3rd behind a smart sort over this c & d recently and had a few of today's rivals a little further back. Nevertheless, the Overlord gelding is favourably drawn this time around and he can confirm the form.

Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Alyson WRIGHT

FLYING FELLOW has been competing in stronger company with some success for quite some time now. He went close over this c & d in yielding conditions last time. The engaging of Delpech suggests that his conditioner will have him fit and well after his ten week absence and the Ravishing gelding should be competitive in this field. He takes a big drop in class and is well drawn once again.

Race 7: OLMA(1)
Jockey: Ian STURGEON - Trainer: Frank ROBINSON

OLMA drops heavily in class after her two recent flops in feature company. She may have needed her last run after her Gauteng escapade. The daughter of Dynasty completed an impressive hat-trick prior to her last two starts and she should go very well at this level. She deservedly shoulders top weight against older rivals but will still be a force.

Race 3: TIMEFORATIGER(6) (Each Way)
Jockey: Sean VEALE - Trainer: Dennis DRIER

TIMEFORATIGER represents an in-form yard and she has improved in recent outings. Her career best run came on the polytrack but she wasn't disgraced in a close finish over this c & d in her comeback effort, recently. She made late progress that day and was beaten just under three lengths after casti- ng a shoe. She will strip fitter now and faces AMONG SAINTS on 1kg better terms.
