Race 2: LE DOMINION(8)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 4: TIGER STORM(7)
Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: John VOS

TIGER STORM loves this track and he has shown some fair recent form. He meets LAST BATTLE on 3.5kgs better terms for his recent three length beating and can turn things around on this track from pole position.

Race 7: WILD ASH(5)
Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: Geoff WOODRUFF

WILD ASH is loaded with potential but she is plagued with problems. She bounced right back to her best form when she ran on nicely for 2nd, beaten two lengths by HAWKER HURRICANE over this c & d, four weeks ago. The Geoff Woodruff inmate now meets her conqueror on 2.5kgs better weight terms and she will be cherry-ripe on her third run after the rest. She is still a lightly raced four-year old filly and has definite claims in this line-up. Her yard captured this event a year ago with Zephira.

Race 8: ANJAAL(1)
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Mike DE KOCK

The ratings tell the full story in this novice plate but the fitness of the classy ANJAAL is the main concern. The Mike de Kock trained imported son of Lonhro had a brilliant juvenile campaign and he went very close in a Grade 1 event at his last start. He has obviously suffered a major setback as he has been out of action for 29 weeks so he won't be a betting proposition, even in this line-up and partic- ularly at very restrictive odds.

Jockey: Piere STRYDOM - Trainer: Roy MAGNER

MAIN SUNDAY is a course specialist who may have found the trip too far for her last time. She has kept her form well and drops in class now. The daughter of Admire Main is once again drawn well and she should go very close in this field. This trip will suit the Roy Magner inmate perfectly and Strydom gets the ride.

Race 5: EPIC TALE(3) (Each Way)
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Mike BASS

EPIC TALE's only Highveld victory came on this inside course and he showed some improvement in yielding going over a mile last time out. The Mike Bass inmate prefers the going on top and should be considered in this low-key handicap. Anthony Delpech gets the ride for the yard.
