Winning Form Best Bets

Race 1: CAPE FLYAWAY(3)
Race 2: BLACK TRACTOR(2)
Race 4: AMARILLO ROSE(1)
Race 5: ETERNAL LOVE(1)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 4: AMARILLO ROSE(1) - TOP BET
Jockey: Corne ORFFER - Trainer: Brett CRAWFORD

AMARILLO ROSE is improving rapidly with each outing and she finished a close 2nd over this c & d, two weeks ago. She meets a very ordinary line-up today and should go close from another handy draw.

Race 5: TROUBLE MAKER(2)
Jockey: Bernard FAYD'HERBE - Trainer: Joey RAMSDEN

TROUBLE MAKER is well-bred and he showed good improvement when trying this trip, six weeks ago. He was returning from a short break and was drawn wide but ran on nicely for 4th over this c & d. That was just his fourth career outing and there will be more to come from the son of Captain Al. He has a better draw in this small field and is the one to beat.

Race 6: WHAT A MISSION(5)
Jockey: Bernard FAYD'HERBE - Trainer: Joey RAMSDEN

WHAT A MISSION is above-average and he seems most effective up to a mile. He was hard ridden but responded well to win a good contest over this c & d under a big mass, two weeks ago. He picked up a four pound penalty for that effort but still has lots more improvement to offer and should handle the rise in class. The imported gelding will relish the likely solid gallop and can follow up.

Race 8: OVIDIO(2)
Jockey: Richard FOURIE - Trainer: Justin SNAITH

OVIDIO is ultra-consistent and he certainly gives the impression that he has lots more improvement to come. He often gets going late in his races and did just that when a close-up 3rd against stronger over nine furlongs, recently. This trip will be ideal for him and he should go close in this lower class.

VALUE BET FOR TODAY:

Race 7: JAZZ BAR(4) (Each Way)
Jockey: Bernard FAYD'HERBE - Trainer: Justin SNAITH

JAZZ BAR didn't beat much on debut but the manner of victory was eye-catching and the daughter of Silvano could be above-average. She was slow into stride over the minimum trip that day but produced a strong late surge to win going away. Her pedigree suggests that she will relish this rise in distance and she should make natural improvement. She has joined the Justin Snaith ranks and jumps from a handy draw on her debut around the turn. That said, she will be severely tested in today's competitive handicap.
