Race 2: MASTER SAM(7)
Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Mark DIXON

Once again there are some well-related newcomers in this juvenile contest but the raced runners could make their experience count here. The Mark Dixon charge, MASTER SAM drops heavily in class after fading in a feature over 1100m, second time out. He proved that he is above-average with a promising debut over this trip on the grass, prior to that. The grey colt found betting support in both his runs so he is obviously showing good potential back home. He is a speedy type who fought hard when runner up in that debut outing and he should have further improvement to come.

Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Dennis DRIER

There are plenty of speedy sorts in this maiden fillies event and the likely blistering pace will suit the fast finishers. CHERRY ORCHARD is lightly raced and the daughter of Horse Chestnut seems to end her races well. She hasn't raced for 26 weeks but showed plenty of promise & produced her career best effort over this c & d. Her conditioner knows how to bring them back well and this chestnut could go close in this line-up.

Race 6: GOLDEN HIGH(7)
Jockey: S'manga KHUMALO - Trainer: Sean TARRY

GOLDEN HIGH is threatening his next career victory and he has had two smart performances on the poly. He was returning from a 16 week break but finished well for a close 3rd over seven furlongs on this track in a strong field, two weeks ago. He takes on stronger now but will strip fitter and has no issues with this extra distance. The Tarry inmate should handle the rise in class and must be respect- ed.

Race 7: TOLD YOU SO(6) - TOP BET
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Alyson WRIGHT

TOLD YOU SO showed exactly what he is capable of when he produced a strong finish and was beaten just a short head into 2nd over a mile on the grass, three weeks ago. That earned him a two pound penalty but he is equally effective on this surface and now gets a top jockey in the saddle. The son of Mogok had one promising effort over this c & d and he should easily handle the extra 300m.

Race 3: GHURKA CHIEF(7) (Each Way)
Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: Bennet BULANA

GHURKA CHIEF is a long-time maiden but he has done well since joining this yard and most importantly, seems to enjoy racing on this surface. He set a blistering gallop but finished a creditable 2nd over seven furlongs on this course in his penultimate run and followed that up with an even better run on the grass, four weeks ago. The son of Announce is a game type who has cracked another good draw and looks set to love this slightly shorter trip. Muzi Yeni knows him well and the pair could land that elusive first career win.
