Race 2: ANGLET(1)
Jockey: Karl NEISIUS - Trainer: Paddy KRUYER

ANGLET appears a smart sort in the making and she built on her promising debut with an eye-catching maiden victory over six furlongs, second time out. The daughter of Biarritz took on a competitive field but showed an impressive turn of foot to win going away. She takes on stronger now and tries the bend for the first time but will relish the rise in distance. She has plenty more to offer and could be equal to the task at hand.

Jockey: Karl NEISIUS - Trainer: Dean KANNEMEYER

LORD MARSHAL is improving quickly and he drew off late to easily beat a consistent sort in the maiden ranks over this c & d, three weeks ago. He faces stronger now but has lots more room for improvement and would have come on since that first attempt around the turn. The Kannemeyer inmate has another decent draw and he should go close in this line-up.

Race 4: OMATICAYA(3)
Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Glen KOTZEN

Just a half a dozen entrants go to post for this highly competitive affair but a decent pace is likely and a true result is expected. OMATICAYA faced a very strong field of male rivals over this c & d last time and earned her 14 week break after a difficult summer. She is much better against her own sex and went close in a listed event over 1700m on this track, three runs back. The Glen Kotzen inmate drops in class on her favourite track and she is a big contender. She is gradually coming down in the ratings.

Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Greg ENNION

The SUNSET TRIPP formline over seven furlongs on 03/05 is well represented in this listed event and could be worth following. The top selection MOONSONG MAGIC was always going to find the trip on the sharp side for her but she did produce a strong finish for a close 3rd, despite racing wide. The daughter of Windrush was beaten just a head at the wire and is now 1kg better off with the former. She is loaded with class and will be an entirely different proposition over today's extra furlong. She can certainly turn things around with her conqueror. Speaking of that rival, the Snaith inmate did show plenty of determination to win that last event and now has her third run after the layoff. She will be cherry-ripe and her pedigree suggests that she will handle the mile. The main concern is that she is drawn widest and isn't the stable elect.

Race 7: PURE POWER(13) (Each Way)
Jockey: Robert KHATHI - Trainer: Mike BASS

PURE POWER bounced right back to form when she produced an impressive finish to easily beat PERINI over this c & d, six weeks ago. She took on lesser that day but was returning from a 13 week absence and has already proven herself against stronger. The daughter of Captain Al is well handicapped in this listed event and she will strip fitter.
