Race 2: GUEST LODGE(8)
Race 8: SUNDARI(7)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: S'manga KHUMALO - Trainer: Sean TARRY

FABERGE STYLE is a speedy daughter of St Petersburg who made the expected improvement second time out. She was 2nd best behind a smart sort over this trip on the grass but should continue to improve with racing and this surface could suit her running style. The Tarry inmate meets a moderate line-up and should go close.

Race 2: GUEST LODGE(8)
Jockey: Francois NAUDE - Trainer: Corne SPIES

GUEST LODGE has competed against winners in all three of her career outings and she takes a huge drop in class. The daughter of Ashaawes is obviously highly rated by her conditioner, albeit she fared poorly in those attempts. She races in maiden company for the first time in her career and her conditioner's horses usually takes to this surface.

Race 3: MOVIE MAN(1)
Jockey: Piere STRYDOM - Trainer: Barend BOTES

MOVIE MAN has come on extremely well since being equipped with blinkers and is in the form of his short life. He finished thereabouts in his last three runs over this trip on the grass and now meets a very limited line-up. The son of Mogok had one fair sand outing and he should take a power of beating with Strydom up from a handy draw.

Race 8: SUNDARI(7)
Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: Michael AZZIE

SUNDARI has produced three polished efforts since relocating to the Highveld but is must be noted that he was carded to race on 02/05. He is effective on both surfaces and won a gutsy affair over this c & d, three weeks ago. The son of Fort Wood beat WELLESLEY by a neck on that occasion but is now 2kgs better off with that rival and should hold the form. He has further improvement to come on this track and rates as the one to beat. The latter jumps from the widest draw and will have his work cut-out to reproduce that form.

Race 5: ROUGH JUSTICE(6) (Each Way)
Jockey: Juan-Paul v.d.MERWE - Trainer: Michael AZZIE

The three-year old ROUGH JUSTICE has found his best form since returning from a lengthy absence and he still has scope for further improvement. This surface has suited the injury plagued son of Right Approach and he produced a solid last performance over this c & d in a decent contest. He should handle today's rise in class and will be competitive for his in-form yard.
