Race 3: KING'S FIRE(10)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 1: KING OF CHAOS(2)
Jockey: Karl ZECHNER - Trainer: Dorrie SHAM

KING OF CHAOS has shown promise from day one when he produced a strong finish to win his debut over this c & d. He was poor in a feature over shorter second time out but bounced back to form when making steady progress to finish runner-up, again over this c & d last time out. The bay colt beat a few of today's rivals comfortably in that outing and he is progressive. The Dorrie Sham inmate should go very close in this line-up.

Race 3: RARE FLAME(1)
Jockey: S'manga KHUMALO - Trainer: Gavin SMITH

RARE FLAME is in good form and she has acclimatized well in PE. She is effective on both local tracks and ran on well for a close 4th over this c & d, two weeks ago. That form was done little favour when the runner-up finished unplaced next time out but this daughter of Parade Leader has lots of scope for improvement and she will be cherry-ripe on her third run after the layoff.

Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: Yvette BREMNER

COPPER PARADE is the class act in this pinnacle contest and his huge merit rating underlines it. The seven-year old Lecture gelding is still loving his racing and he produced a powerful finish to beat weaker on the polytrack over the minimum trip, three weeks ago. He is much better on the grass and though he has achieved most of his career wins over five furlongs, he has no issues with this trip and should go very close in this line-up.

Jockey: Bernard FAYD'HERBE - Trainer: Mike STEWART

PADDY O'REILLY enjoys racing in PE and he bounced back to form with a solid last effort in a feature over two miles on this track. He was gaining strongly at the finish that day and can definitely go one better. The eight-year old Dynasty gelding will have no issues with this extra two furlongs and he is the one to beat.

Race 4: MESSAGEINABOTTLE(4) (Each Way)
Jockey: Raymond DANIELSON - Trainer: Jacques STRYDOM

This is a very tricky opening leg of the jackpot and plenty of caution is advised. MESSAGEINABOTTLE is a long-time maiden but he has shown fair form since relocating to PE and probably needed his comeback run, two weeks ago. He ran on strongly late over six furlongs that day and will strip fitter today. The King Of Kings gelding usually shows pace so this minimum trip could suit him and he must be strongly considered in this weak line-up.
