Race 3: HYPOTHERMIC(10)
Race 4: LIONS EMBLEM(1)
Race 8: SONG JET(9)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 2: LINDELIZE(7) - TOP BET
Jockey: Raymond DANIELSON - Trainer: Sean TARRY

LINDELIZE made the expected improvement when she stayed on strongly for a good 3rd in open company over 1450m on this track, second time out. The mile appears within reach for the daughter of Ashaawes and she should build on that effort. She has cracked barrier 4 in her third consecutive outing.

Race 3: RAINY DAY BLUES(1)
Jockey: Callan MURRAY - Trainer: Joe SOMA

RAINY DAY BLUES has shown fair form to date but he was clearly 2nd best behind a runaway winner over this trip on the standside track, three weeks ago. Still, he finished comfortably ahead of 3rd placed finisher DE LUJO and has good scope for improvement. This inside track could suit the Western Winter gelding's running style and he should be a lively competitor here.

Race 5: SPRINTING QUEEN(1)
Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: Geoff WOODRUFF

SPRINTING QUEEN loves this c & d and she takes a big drop in class. She made late progress despite a wide draw over this c & d last time but the imported four-year old has now cracked a top barrier position. She deservedly shoulders a big mass but should go very close to winning.

Race 6: MEISSA(1)
Jockey: Andrew FORTUNE - Trainer: Gary ALEXANDER

MEISSA has been off the mark in much stronger company since returning from a lengthy break but he was recently docked two pounds in his merit rating and he takes a big dip in class. His last victory came against similar opposition over this c & d prior to the absence. The Jallad gelding is in fact unbeat- en from three c & d runs and he could bounce back to form from pole position today.

VALUE BET FOR TODAY:

Race 4: COBY(5) (Each Way)
Jockey: Gavin LERENA - Trainer: Gary ALEXANDER

COBY is a decent staying filly with some quirks but she is extremely capable on her day. She showed signs of life when staying on well for 4th behind a classy stayer over 2200m last time and she is best weighted here. The daughter of A P Arrow won't have an issue over this trip and though she was beaten just over five lengths by the likely odds-on favourite LIONS EMBLEM in the Gold Bowl, she now meets that rival on 6.5kgs better terms. She gets the services of Gavin Leerena and represents good each/way value. The latter is fast developing into a top quality stayer and his feature form underlines this.
