Race 3: JUST A JAG(2)
Race 7: BABY BE MINE(4)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: Byleveld M - Trainer: Marshall V H

MYSTICAL TWILIGHT has shown some decent form and clearly needed his comeback run when slightly below par over six furlongs at Kenilworth recently. His in-form conditioner wasted little time in gelding him a mere seven days later and that could do the trick for the highly rated son of Great Britain. He has the pace to handle this minimum distance and should go very close, if proving effective around the bend.

Jockey: Neisius K - Trainer: Ramsden J

SUPERCILIOUS has improved her recent formline and she has plenty of scope for further progress. Her slow start probably cost her over a mile last time but that form was franked by the runner-up and the daughter of Visionaire proved equally effective over this distance in her penultimate start. She will be aided by pole position on her track debut and should go close, if jumping on terms.

Race 3: JUST A JAG(2)
Jockey: Orffer C - Trainer: Crawford B

JUST A JAG is a lightly raced four-year old who produced his career best effort in his comeback run over seven furlongs, last time out. He stayed on for 4th that day despite shifting his ground and will strip fitter. The mile should suit the A P Answer gelding and he will have more improvement to offer. He will be aided by pole position on his track debut.

Race 7: BABY BE MINE(4)
Jockey: Khathi R - Trainer: Reeves P D

BABY BE MINE wasn't disgraced in a sprint feature last time and she produced some solid performances under Kathi, prior to that. She is c & d suited and is an obvious contender in this lower class. Her good draw will help her cause.

Race 4: DENIA TIBBS(5)
Jockey: Wright G - Trainer: Humby S W

DENIA TIBBS had excuses for her improved last performance and she could represent decent each/way value in this low-key affair. She raced wide behind CHRISALDAME over seven furlongs that day but still made late progress to finish just out of the money. The bay mare is suited to this extra furlong and she achieved her maiden victory over this c & d. She now faces her conqueror on 2kgs better weight terms and could get much closer over this extra furlong, particularly if her jockey gets a good position.
