Race 4: ROY'S PAST(3)
Race 6: MAGICAL BET(4)
Magic Tips Best Bets
Jockey: Marco VAN RENSBURG - Trainer: Weiho MARWING
ROYAL REGATTA bounced right back to best on his local debut for his new conditioner, three weeks ago. The former Gauteng resident challenged strongly before going down narrowly into 2nd over this c & d and he can go one better here.
Race 4: TAKU WIND(1)
Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Dennis DRIER
TAKU WIND was in desperate need of his comeback sprint after a lengthy absence but he did get going late and should strip much fitter today. He had cracking form prior to suffering a major setback that kept him out of action for almost a year. The son of Windrush has given every indication that he will relish the step-up to the mile and he should bounce back to form from his good draw.
Race 7: SELVAN'S JET(4)
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Alyson WRIGHT
SELVAN'S JET loves this surface and he produced a strong finish when beaten narrowly into 2nd in a similar handicap two weeks ago. He may have escaped without a penalty for that performance and Delpech retains the ride on the Jet Master gelding who can certainly go one better here.
Race 9: TIME MARCHES ON(5)
Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: Dennis BOSCH
TIME MARCHES ON is a track specialist with a solid c & d record and she produced an eye-catching last performance in a strong field. The daughter of Overlord finished well for 3rd after a slow start and she drops heavily in class today. She has a decent draw and holds strong claims with Muzi Yeni taking the ride.

Race 1: POWER HORSE(2)
Jockey: Alec FORBES - Trainer: Wendy WHITEHEAD
POWER HORSEfound some of her better form when equipped with blinkers on her polytrack debut recently and she can build on that showing. She stayed on for a creditable 4th behind the classy Just Vogue (beaten a head in a subsequent feature) over this trip that day and she has solid claims from another good barrier position. The headgear remains on the daughter of Overlord.
