TOP BET
Race 2: LET IT FLOW(7)
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Lucky HOUDALAKIS

LET IT FLOW(7)

There are numerous first timers in this big field so the betting market needs to be closely monitored. However, it will take a 'special one' to defeat the confident top selection LET IT FLOW. This well-related daughter of Judpot has posted two promising runs to date and probably should have gone closer but for traffic problems on a tight circuit over this distance second time out. She should have no excuses back down this straight and has plenty of scope for further progress. Top jockey Delpech takes the ride.

Race 3: DOWN TO ZERO(1)
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Michael AZZIE

DOWN TO ZERO(1)

DOWN TO ZERO is a promising type who only weakened late in soft conditions after overcoming a wide draw on a tight circuit second time out. He may prefer racing down the straight for now and of course produced a quality debut in open company over this track & trip in his penultimate run. The Judpot colt is worth following.

Race 5: BURNING ROCK(4)
Jockey: Chase MAUJEAN - Trainer: Geoff WOODRUFF

BURNING ROCK(4)

BURNING ROCK has been competitive in recent outings and this switch to a longer run-in will suit the grey daughter of Count Dubois perfectly. She has no issues with this distance and meets her recent conqueror STAR OF CAESOUR on 3kgs better terms for a three-length defeat. The latter has a wide draw to overcome but can still be involved.

Race 8: SPORTING MONARCH(4)
Jockey:
Craig
ZACKEY
 - Trainer:
Brett
WARREN

SPORTING MONARCH(4)

SPORTING MONARCH has found form since being rested and gelded but was probably slightly below his best in a competitive line-up over this c & d three weeks ago. That said, he may have felt the effects of his promising comeback run and will be cherry-ripe today. The son of Rebel King was docked a handy two pounds in his rating & should be highly competitive in this lower class.

VALUE BET (EACH WAY) FOR TODAY:
Race 6: ZIPPA(8)
Jockey: Muzi YENI - Trainer: St John GRAY

ZIPPA(8)
ZIPPA probably prefers a little further to be at his best but his top jockey usually gets them up in the firing line early and this three-year-old can cause an upset. He hasn't fared badly since his shock maiden win, with his best post maiden run being a decent 4th behind the classy stayer B Twenty One despite racing wide throughout the event. The son of Jam Alley can take full advantage of a recent four-pound drop in his merit rating.
