We look at the team of the tournament after the conclusion of the ICC Women's World Cup

The ICC Women's World Cup came to a conclusion as the hosts lifted the trophy on home soil. England won their fourth title this year, after a nail biting end to a gritty finale against India.
A tournament team was selected based on the best performers throughout the tournament.

We look at the South African women who feature in the list of elite players.

Three South Africans featured on the list, with the likes of 18-year-old Laura Wolvaardt, who made her U19 Provincial debut aged 11, was amongst this years elite, scoring 324 runs in her maiden World Cup, she is certainly one for the future.

Seamer, Marizanne Kapp featured with her total of 13 wickets in the tournament. Her best return of the tournament saw the quick claim 4/14, with an economy of 2.00. She's joined by team mate and all-rounder Dane Van Niekerk, the leg spinner scooped 15 wickets, with a notable 99 runs from her World Cup experience.

The South Africans were unlucky to go all the way, but they'll rue their miss chances and will work towards 2021 when New Zealand play host's in the next ICC Women's World Cup.
