The Free State Cheetahs will be looking to make home ground advantage pay dividends once again when they take on the Pro 14's form side, the Glasgow Warriors, under the Bloemfontein night sky. The hosts, after a sluggish start to the season, have turned their campaign around over the last three weeks beating Zebre, Leinster and the Ospreys. And while the Leinster result was one that will go down in Free State rugby folklore, that memorable victory would be usurped should the hosts get one over a red-hot Warriors side.

Free State Cheetahs v Glasgow Warriors | Friday 6 October | Toyota Stadium | 21:35

To Win (80 Mins)
Cheetahs 9/20 | Draw 20/1 | Glasgow 7/4

Free State Cheetahs
The Free State certainly got the better of the touring Osprey's last week as not only did the Welsh side go down 33-25 to the Cheetahs but they also had hooker Scott Baldwin bitten by a lion. The hosts and the now infamous lion, have proved that the Free State is not an easy place to tour, and Glasgow will have to learn from the mistakes of tourists past if they are to get a win here.

We all know the Cheetahs have found a rich vein of form, and while it does have a lot to do with playing on the harder Toyota Stadium deck - which allows them to implement their Blitzkrieg like counter-attacks unlike the softer pitches in Europe - the players, particularly the Cheetahs pack, really deserve the praise. Their setpiece has been rock solid since they headed home, which has given their entertaining backline the perfect launchpad.

That setpiece is going to have to be on song again this week as Glasgow pivot Finn Russel has a prodigious boot and is a magician with turnover ball. Any penalties at the scrum or missed lace throws at the lineout are likely to result in points for the hosts.

Glasgow Warriors
Played five won five. That's is a mightily impressive record Glasgow have going there considering two of the sides they have beaten were Munster and Connacht. The Warriors have also claimed three try-scoring bonus points, which leads one to believe that we could be in for a rather high-scoring affair this Friday evening.

Before the Warriors departed for South African shores they took on Zebre at home. And while it was by no means a vintage performance from Scotland's finest, they did manage to win the game by a cushy 16-point margin. The fixture against the Italian minnows also afforded Glasgow the chance to rest a few of their heavy hitters, who will come into Friday's fixture rejuvenated and ready to go.

Verdict: Glasgow 7/4
Yes, the Cheetahs have been fantastic at home but they have spent a lot of energy over the past three weeks. I can see fatigue costing the hosts this weekend. Get on the away win at 7/4.
