Platinum Stars 0 - 0 Bloem Celtic

Stars went closest in the first half through Vuyo Mere early on, while Brian Mwila had a goal ruled out for offside after the interval.

Both teams kept it tight, though Kabelo Mahlasela saw a shot saved for Celtic while Robert Ng'ambi had a great chance to win it late on for Dikwena.

AmaZulu 0 - 0 Kaizer Chiefs

Usuthu dominated the match on the east coast, but failed to capitalise on the several openings that came their way.

One of those was a big penalty opportunity after 54 minutes for Rhulani Manzini that was saved by Itumeleng Khune.

Phumlani Gumede was dismissed late on after a second yellow card, but the hosts held on to stay ninth, with the visitors up to sixth.

Maritzburg 0 - 0 Polokwane City

A misfiring Maritzburg United held off some late pressure at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium to claim a 0-0 draw against Polokwane City on Wednesday.

The first half was mainly a midfield battle with a few chances for both ends, with Maritzburg ending the stanza strongly. Polokwane were on top for most of an open second half, but failed to capitalise on their opportunities.

Free State Stars 1 - 1 Chippa United

Two goals in the final few minutes saw Free State Stars and Chippa United draw 1-1 in a Premiership encounter at Goble Park on Wednesday.

Both teams had their moments in attack during the first half, but there were only a couple of chances in what was a tight opening period in Bethlehem.

The second half was more action-packed, with several chances before the two late goals.
