The face of Golden Boy promotions, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will go toe to toe with Gennady “GGG” Golovkin on Sunday 17 September for the Super WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring Magazine middleweight belts.

The bout – which have purists licking their lips in anticipation – follows hot on the heels of Mayweather v McGregor and will surely live up to everything the Money Fight hype train promised, but ultimately failed to deliver.

Milan Melindo will defend his Junior flyweight title when he faces South African - Hector the "Hexecutioner" Budler in the Phillippines on September 16.

The Hexecutioner will be flying the South African flag high in Cebu City in the Philippines this weekend as he prepares to face Milan Melindo for the IBF World Light Flyweight Title. 

For Melindo, this will be his first defence of the belt he won after beating Akira Yaegashi in May this year while Buddler will take his third consecutive Light Flyweight bout after fighting at Minimumweight between the end of 2011 and the start of 2016.

It's Cossack Thunder vs the poster boy of Mexican boxing - Gennady Golovkin and Saul Alvarez will square off at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday 17 September.

The Kazakhstani is undefeated in 37 fights, winning an astounding 33 of those via knockouts. Alvarez - a Guadalajara native - only has one professional loss in 51 fights. That defeat came against Floyd Mayweather in September of 2013.

The Mexican has since matured as an all-round fighter and will fancy his chances against his ageing opponent.
