Jason Dewey looks at the betting for week three of the Scottish Premier League, with all six matches taking place on Saturday 19 August. 

We’re heading into the third week of the Scottish Premier League now as things start to take shape at the top of the table. St. Johnstone lead the way (on goal difference) from Celtic Hibernian and Aberdeen who all find themselves on six points.

This week’s action sees Celtic go head to head with winless Kilmarnock while Aberdeen will be keen to make it three on the spin when they welcome Dundee FC to the Pittodrie Stadium.

We take a look at the second week of the Scottish Premier League set to get underway on Friday 11 August.

There were very few surprises in the opening week of the Scottish Premier League with Celtic, Aberdeen and Rangers all picking up maximum points. 

The pick of this week’s action will see Celtic travel to Patrick Thistle while Hamilton and Dundee will both look to bounce back from opening week defeats when they clash at New Douglas Park.

Our Scottish football guru previews week one the SPL gets underway on Saturday 5 August.

Week one of the Scottish Premier League gets underway this week with Brendan Rodgers' Celtic side favourites to claim the title once again this season. The Bhoys get their campaign underway against Hearts at Celtic Park while Aberdeen and Rangers - the two sides most likely to resist Celtic's dominance - up against Hamilton and Motherwell respectively.

Elsewhere, Hibernian host Patrick Thistle while St. Johnstone travel to Kilmarnock while Dundee and Ross County clash in some of the less glamourous ties.

Our Scottish Premier League writer takes a look at whether or not anyone can stop Celtic's dominance of the division in the 2017/18 season.

It’s easy to forget among all of the hype of the Premier League and – to a much, much lesser extent – the EFL Championship, that the Scottish Premier League rules supreme in the north.

Of course, Celtic are the overwhelming favourites to claim their 49th league title in the 2017/18 season following last term’s Invincibles campaign which saw the Bhoys go unbeaten domestically as they claimed league honours and both domestic cups.
