Race 3: MY EMBLEM(2)
Jockey: Anton MARCUS - Trainer: Eric SANDS

MY EMBLEM was nibbled at slightly in the betting market on debut and she showed lots of toe before finding extra to win by just over one length over five furlongs at the wire, four weeks ago. She rises in class today but is well-bred and has lots more to offer. The only other winner in this contest, JUST FELICITY is the obvious danger. She built on her solid debut performance when fighting hard to win over six furlongs, second time out. That form has worked out well and the daughter of Antonius Pius should continue to improve.

Jockey: Sean CORMACK - Trainer: Joey RAMSDEN

HAPPY FOREVER was pegged back late over six furlongs in a similar contest recently and he will love today's drop to the minimum trip. He wasn't disgraced at Grade 1 level in his penultimate start over this c & d and meets TEVEZ on 1kg better terms for a 0.90 length beating that day. The son of Var should go very close in this field despite being out at the weights on official ratings.

Jockey: Sean CORMACK - Trainer: Mike STEWART

CHESTNUT DANCER is ultra-consistent and she runs extremely well for Cormack. The speedy daughter of Horse Chestnut stayed on for 3rd over this c & d at the same level last time and is well handicapped against many of her three-year old counterparts here. She is 1.5kgs better off with AZARENKA for a neck defeat and she loves this c & d. She should give a very good account of herself.

Jockey: Greg CHEYNE - Trainer: Greg ENNION

MOONSONG MAGIC continues to improve with racing and she should be up to this acid test today. The daughter of Windrush produced her customary strong burst as she collared the pacesetter COLOUR MAGIC close to home to win a very good contest over this c & d, five weeks ago. She was handed a four pound penalty so is now 1.5kgs worse off with the runner-up but the top selection has huge scope for further improvement. She jumps from pole position once again & can follow up, despite her big mass.

Race 4: MAYORAL DECREE(5) (Each Way)
Jockey: Christopher PULLER - Trainer: Dolf MAEDER

There are plenty of form speedsters in this maiden contest and there is a big chance of them cutting each other's throats. MAYORAL DECREE is better than his last two performances suggest and he will benefit from the likely suicidal pace. The son of Express Way has obviously shown a bit at work, for veteran jockey Karl Neisius partnered him in his two best efforts to date. He caught the eye with a solid debut performance over this c & d in a strong field and still has lots of room for improvement. It helps that his small yard had a winner at this venue last Saturday.
