Race 8: PRINCE PONTI (2)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Jockey: Billy JACOBSON Trainer: Paul GADSBY

DIAMONDS FOREVER weakened in a quality field over this c & d recently but had promising form prior to that and she can quickly bounce back in this much weaker line-up today. The daughter of Var is her jockey's solitary ride on the card and she jumps from a decent draw. Her last formline would be worth following. RANI could be a major improver as she finally reverts to the minimum distance. She made a fair debut over this track & trip in June but has disappointed over further since. However, the Drier inmate has been equipped with blinkers here and interestingly, she finished just under one length adrift of the first selection in that debut showing.

Race 3: ALL TRUE MAN (3)
Jockey:  Stuart RANDOLPH - Trainer: Pat LUNN

ALL TRUE MAN has a decent c & d record and he should bounce right back to form after a short break. He produced a strong finish for a close 3rd over this c & d at a slightly higher level in his penultimate run. The veteran gelding's yard has come well in recent weeks.

Race 4: ZINZARA (11)
Jockey:  Anthony DELPECHE - Trainer: Paul LAFFERTY

The bay mare ZINZARA flew at narrow victress STREET LIFE in their recent clash over this c & d and the imported five-year old can exact revenge on the 1kg favourable weight reversal. Furthermore, she has finally cracked a good draw.

Race 7: AMAZON KING (3)
Jockey:  Keagan DE MELO- Trainer: Duncan HOWELLS

AMAZON KING is better than his recent two efforts, the penultimate of which was on the Highveld. He was making late headway from his wide draw on the grass in a similar field last time out and he has a good record on this course. The Kahal gelding should be highly competitive from his neat barrier position this time around.

Race 8: WOLF KILLER (8)
Jockey: Jasurick JORDAAN Trainer: Frank ROBINSON

A competitive maiden contest ends the day's proceedings and an upset in the form of WOLF KILLER could be on the cards. This well-tried maiden appears safely held by the speedy and consistent WORLD DREAMER on their recent five furlong clash behind Noble Duke but the extra furlong could make all the difference.
