The unbeaten Glasgow Warriors face their toughest test of their domestic season in the form of Leinster; who head into this weekend's clash off the back of a very impressive 25-10 win over Ulster. The hosts, last weekend dispatched the Southern Kings 43-13 now have the opportunity to send a real warning to the rest of the Pro14, with what would be a monumental victory on Friday

Glasgow Warriors

Dave Rennie has been one of the top coaches in world rugby for some time now, and his influence in the Scottish capital has been clear as his Warriors side have crushed all before them to claim wins in each of their seven-games to date. While their European dreams may lie in tatters following two-defeats in this season's European Rugby Champions Cup "Pool of Death", their form on the domestic front has been nothing short of outstanding.

Their wonderfully expansive brand of football was again on show last week in their dismantling of the Kings, but they will be weary of playing as freely this weekend. Alongside the likes of Glasgow and the Scarlets, Leinster have looked every inch the real deal over the past few months, and their game is based on the foundations laid by the multitude of Irish internationals that turn out for them each week. Rennie can't count on the likes of Sean O'Brien et al. falling off as many tackles as did the men from Port Elizabeth and so may look to take them on up front before throwing the pill around. Indeed, Friday's scrum battle looks set for a humdinger.

If there were still any lingering doubts about the mettle of this Leinster side, they must surely have put them to bed following their wonderful victory in Belfast last week. In what was doubtless one of the biggest challenges Leo Cullen's men have faced yet this season, they certainly came away with flying colors and are poised nicely to claim the scalp of the unbeaten Warriors this Friday.

Of course, the downside of that famous win is that the Leinster men may feel its effects come the final quarter of their tie in Scotland. Cullen would do well to rush the likes of Johnny Sexton and Robbie Henshaw back into his starting line-up to "freshen up" his soldiers, while the reintroduction of Richardt Strauss at hooker may just increase the physicality stakes in his favour. I sound like a stuck record but, again, the winner of the collisions will determine who runs out victorious.

Verdict: Leinster 16/10
A lot depends on the team that Cullen decides to name, but I feel as though the Irishmen may take it this week. Glasgow are due a loss and Leinster's powerful forwards should allow for Sexton to control proceedings via the boot - and condemn the Scots to their first Pro14 loss of the season.
