Race 3: AFORAWAY(3)
Jockey: D Lembethe   - Trainer: S Tarry

The Tarry inmate AFORAWAY had an eye-catching comeback effort over a mile on the grass nine days ago and he drops heavily in class tonight. The recently gelded three-year old will prefer this extra furlong and he should be highly competitive despite the big mass.

Race 4: IDEAL DUEL(4)
Jockey: T Godden - Trainer: D Drier

IDEAL DUEL clearly needed both her fair comeback displays and the Drier inmate could mount a serious challenge on her peak showing tonight. Her fellow four-year old SHIFTING GEARS has nearly two lengths to spare with the top selection on their latest clash over this c & d and is an obvious contender as she is just 0.5kg worse off.

Race 6: ISHNANA(5)
Jockey: W Kennedy  - Trainer: G Puller

ISHNANA is still improving and blinkers have made a positive difference to the son of Al Miqdaam who finished smartly to beat a similar field over this c & d earlier this autumn. The three-year old may have escaped with just a three pound penalty and he has definite claims on his peak showing despite meeting the 3rd placed entrant MARSHALL THAT on 1.5kgs worse terms.

Race 7: ROY'S TAXI(1)
Jockey: S Moodley - Trainer: K Naidoo

ROY'S TAXI was rewarded for consistency but still had to sweat to emerge victorious by a narrow verdict over shorter at this level three weeks ago. Hardly surprisingly, the veteran campaigner was upped just the minimum two pounds and this extra furlong will suit him perfectly. His conditioner has cleverly engaged the services of a promising 1.5kgs claiming apprentice.

Race 1: DID I WIN(11)
Jockey: S Moodley  - Trainer: K Naidoo

The lightly raced DID I WIN had a much improved second career outing on his local debut over this c & d and the new recruit to the Kom Naidoo yard can build on that progress. The well-bred son of Dynasty will strip fitter.
