Five talking points from some of the weekend's sporting highlights.  

France win first ever World Rugby U20 Championship

France made history as they won their first ever World Rugby U20s Championships after overcoming England 33 - 25. The host nation finished the tournament unbeaten with hard-fought victories against New Zealand in the semi-final 16 - 7. South Africa finished third following their bronze play-off victory against New Zealand, winning 42 - 30.



Argentina head coach steps down

After yet another loss to Wales. Daniel Hourcasde has decided to step down after the conclusion of Argentina's June Tests with a match against Scotland. With the 2019 Rugby World Cup looming, the pressure is now on the Argentina Rugby Union to find a suitable replacement. The Argentines went down 30-12 to Wales as the Europeans win the series 2-0.


Beast's 100th Cap and Kolisi's birthday Celebrated in Style

The Springboks emulated their performance from the first Test against England to come from behind and win. In a match that was blighted by heated exchanges, the encounter saw two tries apiece - but the difference came in the form of Handre Pollard who capitalized on England's ill-discipline to score 11 points from his boot as South Africa ran out 23-12 victors to take an unassailable 2-0 series lead.

Koepka retains US Open title

Brooks Koepka became the first man to retain the US Open for almost 30 years at Shinnecock Hills on Sunday as he carded an ice cool final round of two-under-par for a one-shot victory.

Koepka tapped in for a bogey at the final hole for a five-birdie, three bogey 68 and the 118th US Open title, the first back-to-back champion since Curtis Strange in 1988-89. Read the full story here.


USA stun Scotland

Gary Gold's USA team made history to beat Scotland in Houston. The States were down 24 - 13 at the half but rallied back to win 30 - 29. Scotland missed a vital conversion at the death and dropped the ball over the try-line to hand USA a memorable victory.
