Gabuza Walks off after Fan Abuse

Orlando Pirates player Thamsanqa Gabuza walked off the field after being antagonized by his own supporters. 
Gabuza missed some early chances during Pirates’ match against Black Leopards on Tuesday night and fans were quick to signal for him to be substituted.

In the 34th minute Gabuza’s cross into the box was deflected by Black Leopards player Ndou into the his own net. Gabuza then ran toward his fans, took off his shirt and threw it at them and mimicked their gesture substitution gesture.

SuperSport forward, James Keene, felt remorse for Gabuza and had this to say on twitter:

Orlando Pirates Coach – Milutin Sredojević asked the fans to show more support during an interview after the match:

Pirates went on to win the match 2 – 1 with ten men.
