Late Origi winner sends Klopp into a craze

Liverpool's 14-match unbeaten league run continued as they ran out 1-0 winners against Everton after a late winner from David Origi. The Belgian came on the in the 84th minute and capitalized on an error from Jordan Pickford who tried to collect the ball from above the bar but instead made an error and brought it back into play. The ball would drop for Origi who scored with his head and sent Anfield into a frenzy, with Jurgen Klopp running across the pitch to celebrate with Alisson Becker.

In other Premier League news, Arsenal are now 19 games unbeaten in all competitions after their 4-2 win over Tottenham. Chelsea made relatively short work of Fulham with a regulation 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Jantjies drop goal sinks Argentina 

Argentina took on the Barbarians to close out the international season at Twickenham. Rassie Erasmus picked a team that featured 13 Springboks. The Babaas scored in the opening minute, before a brilliant display of running rugby saw Argentina score tries to go into the break 28-14.

The Barbarians then went to their forwards for tries with a series of rolling mauls that saw them bring the match level before Elton Jantjies converted a drop goal in the 78th minute to hand the invitational side the victory.

Blitzbokke Stumble at Dubai Sevens


South Africa have been dealt an early blow HSBC Sevens Series title defence after suffering an exit in the quarters. The Blitzbokke were hammered by England in their quarter-final and could only manage a sixth-place finish. They'll be hoping to bounce back when the series makes its way to South Africa next weekend.

Sundowns win Derby, Pirates stay at the summit

Sundowns continued their derby dominance over SuperSport Untied after their win after 2-1 win victory.. A long-range strike from Lebohang Maboe found the back of the net, before Lyle Lakay left Rowen Williams rooted to the spot with a smart finish. Morgan Gould scored in the 66th but the hosts couldn't find the equalizer and the match ended in favour of Sundowns who maintain their unbeaten league run this season. Kaizer Chiefs conceded two penalties that saw them go down 2 - 1 against Lamontville Golden Arrows. Orlando Pirates, meanwhile, were held my Maritzburg United.


Fury Wilder ends in draw

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder squared off the Staples Centre to fight for the WBC title that went the full 12 rounds. Wilder's wild haymakers hardly landed on Tyson Fury but when they did land, the Gypsy King found himself on the canvas twice. The fight was scored 115-111 for Wilder, 114-112 for Fury and 113-113.

Speculation of a rematch is rife and both fighters desperate to have a go at Anthony Joshua.
