Trainer Comments:
Trainer Vaughan Marshall is notorious for turning out his horses immaculately and it is likely that TAP O’ NOTH will be a picture on parade this Saturday afternoon. The Cape trainer tasted success in this race in 2014 and felt things weren’t cut and dried this year when mentioning:

“I am very pleased with him, he has had a very similar prep to Hill Fifty Four. I see a decent pace with Milton and a couple others going up there, which I’m happy with. Do It Again is the real danger and Oh Susanna will be a threat again but the race isn’t run on paper."

"One World is my best runner on the card.”

Jockey Comments:
MJ Byleveld has inspiringly returned from a serious neck injury and sounded pleased to be back aboard Tap O’ Noth for this prestigious event when saying:

“This is his third run after the KZN season. The first run was obviously too short for him but he ran on nicely in his last start. He galloped really well at Kenilworth last Saturday and his draw could keep him out of trouble as he didn’t enjoy the bunching in Durban. It looks like the pace could be on but one never knows when the gates open."

"The main dangers are Do It Again, Rainbow Bridge and Made To Conquer and my best rides on the day are Top Of The Class and Tap O’Noth.”
