Ruthless Citizens put Chelsea to the sword

Sergio Aguero's hat-trick helped fire Manchester City back to the top of the Premier League as they thrashed Chelsea 6-0 at the Etihad on Sunday evening.

Pep Guardiola's men were replaced in top spot by Liverpool after they beat Bournemouth on Saturday, but they were guaranteed to return to the summit thanks to a devastating opening 25 minutes in which they went 4-0 ahead.

Klopp's Reds return to winning ways over Bournemouth

Liverpool moved back to the top of the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 victory at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Having slipped to second after dropping points against Leicester and West Ham United, the Reds needed a response and they duly delivered as they extended their unbeaten home run in the Premier League to 33 matches.

Gunners pile more misery on Huddersfield

Arsenal kept up their push for the top-four with their first away win since November as they saw off bottom club Huddersfield.

First-half strikes from Alex Iwobi and Alexandre Lacazette set the Gunners on their way to ending their recent troubles on the road but an improved second-half performance from the Terriers forced them to dig deep for the three points.

United comeback train continues with big win at Fulham

Manchester United enhanced their top-four hopes with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Fulham at a blustery Craven Cottage.

The result was a further blow to Claudio Ranieri’s team who have now conceded 58 goals this season and look set to be heading back to the Championship after just one campaign in the top-flight.

Spurs beat Leicester to stay in touch with league leaders

Tottenham remain firmly in the Premier League title race after a 3-1 win against Leicester City at Wembley.

Spurs went into the game after creating a new Premier League record with a 1-0 win against Newcastle last weekend seeing them go 29 matches without a draw.
