Tips Today - Tuesday - Horse Racing - Hollywoodbets

Neil Morrice brings us all of his best bets and tips from Tuesday's racing at Chepstow, Beverley, Sedgefield, Ffos Las and Southwell.

Chepstow Best Bets

Race 2: ITIZZIT (9)
Trainer: Hughie Morrison
Jockey: Oisin Murphy

A change of scenery into a yard that can do nothing wrong at present augers well for ITIZZIT breaking her duck in a weak novice auction stakes. She hit the woodwork a couple of times last season, and while no star has shaped well for this first outing in more than 200 days.

Race 4: TROTTER (10)
Trainer: Stuart Kittow
Jockey: Liam Keniry

It was only in plating company that TROTTER gained his only career success but recent evidence suggests he's improved between the ages of four and five. He looks for a long way like giving his in-form stable another winner on his seasonal return at Windsor, only to be headed in the final strides. He was backed into favourite that day and looks to have a similar chance in this.

Beverley Best Bets

Race 1: QUIET PLACE (9)
Trainer: Saeed Bin Suroor
Jockey: Pat Cosgrave

From what is a dream draw three off the fence, QUIET PLACE holds outstanding claims and can go wire to wire for Godolphin. She showed excellent natural pace on her Yarmouth introduction and was only denied in a head bob. With the progression she's sure to generate from that, she will be hard to stop.

Race 5: STORM AHEAD (11)
Trainer: Tim Easterby
Jockey: David Allan

STORM AHEAD did nothing wrong at Beverley last week when cutting for home and being reeled in by Crownthorpe. He deserves to enjoy the rub of the green and even though his conqueror failed to endorse the form at Chester, that might have come too soon for him. This is a widely competitive heat but the blinkered 6yo has all boxes ticked.

Sedgefield Best Bets

Race 1: ZABEEL STAR (5)
Trainer: Karen McLintock
Jockey: Dale Irving

After landing a good old fashioned gamble on his return to hurdling, ZABEEL STAR looked to be given plenty to do on the Newcastle Tapeta next time and might have been unlucky not to follow up. The 7yo is a lightly raced individual that can add to his laurels under both racing codes.

Race 2: JOKERS AND ROGUES (3)
Trainer: Dianne Sayer
Jockey: Conor O'Farrell

A confirmed front runner who has twice proved impossible to catch at this course, JOKERS AND ROGUES has claims to go all the way on his first outing of the new season. He faces a dangerous foe in Istimraar, but if that one in any way fluffs his lines Jokers And Rogues can capitalise.

Ffos Las Best Bet

Race 2: ISAAC WONDER (3)
Trainer: Michael Scudamore
Jockey: Brendan Powell

While the unexposed Dieu Benisse could be thrown into this, the proven form and consistency of ISAAC WONDER make him a more attractive betting proposition. The 4yo looked all over the winner in a similar contest at Wetherby only to be worried out of it and after being given plenty of time to get over that should be hard to beat.

Southwell Best Bet

Race 3: ASHOKA (1)
Trainer: Dan Skelton
Jockey: Bridget Andrews

A rare visitor to the race course, the fragile ASHOKA can take this under joint top weight after an absence of more than a year. The Skeltons, Dan and brother Harry, are masters at readying horses of this ilk that have had training problems. Ashoka will lack for nothing in fitness and can successfully concede 20lb to All Is Good.
