Race 2: NICALEX(2)
Race 5: JUAN TWO THREE(2)
Race 8: FOOLS GARDEN(2)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 1: PRINCESS KALISI(9)
Jockey: G Cheyne   - Trainer: A Greeff

PRINCESS KALISI has only had the one run where she was making late progress in the closing stages over six furlongs. She would have learnt from the experience and with natural improvement to be expected, she should be involved in the finish here, despite jumping from a wide draw. She attracted betting support on debut which would suggest that she had shown good work at home.

Race 3: TOM TOM(5)
Jockey: G Cheyne   - Trainer: G Paddock

TOM TOM put over eleven lengths between himself and the rest of the field to win his maiden last time out over this c&d. He takes on stronger, but he may well be up to the task on hand.

TOP BET
Race 5: JUAN TWO THREE(2)
Jockey: G Cheyne     - Trainer: A Greeff

JUAN TWO THREE is a twelve time winner who has won half of those races on the poly. He has notched up four wins from six starts over this distance and he looks to be the one to be with here. His regular pilot, stable jockey Greg Cheyne, takes the ride again.

R
ace 6: BOLD VIKING(2)
Jockey: C Maujean - Trainer: Tara Laing

BOLD VIKING has his peak run here and is the only runner on the day from the Tara Laing yard. He does have his first run on the polytrack, but if taking to the surface, he should be right up there in the finish, jumping from a mid-field draw.

OLD VIKING(2)

VALUE BET
Race 7: GUN HILL(1)
Jockey: R Fourie - Trainer:  Y Bremner

GUN HILL has his peak run here and has recorded all three of his wins so far over this distance. He made an abnormal respiratory noise in his penultimate outing and did well to finish where he did. From a handy draw and Richard Fourie in the saddle, he should be included in all bets.
