Winning Form Best Bets

Race 3: FIRE AND ICE (1)
Race 4: KOOL BAIKAL (2)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 2: MAGOGO (1)
Jockey: L Ferraris - Trainer: S Gray

MAGOGO found good betting support when winning on debut which suggests that she had been showing good work back to home. The manner in which she finished off the race was impressive as she ran on powerfully. The daughter of Ideal World would have come on from the run and can notch up her second career victory.

Race 3: FIRE AND ICE (1)
Jockey: P Mxoli - Trainer: P Botes

FIRE AND ICE was an impressive winner of his last start over 1160m. He moved up well and despite shifting in the closing stages, he fought off all challengers well. He steps up to the seven furlongs for the first time, but the manner in which he races suggests that this distance will be up his alley. He gets the services of 4kg claiming apprentice Philasande Mxoli and has a good chance of notching up another victory.

Race 4: ABDUL (1)
Jockey: W Kennedy - Trainer: S Gray

ABDUL has finished runner-up in his last two starts. He stayed on well at the finish over a mile last time and on that showing, he should enjoy the rise to 2400m. In this type of field, he looks like the one to beat.

Jockey: G Lerena - Trainer: J Soma

AFRICAN ADVENTURE is showing good signs of returning to his best form. He was fitted with the blinkers for the first time in his last outing and the manner in which he finished off his race was eye-catching. He does have a wide draw to contend with today, but he gets the services of Gavin Lerena who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

Race 7: WAR JEWEL (3)
Jockey: J Syster- Trainer: P Marchett

WAR JEWEL took on stronger is his last start over this c&d. He stayed on well at the finish that day and if repeating that effort back in Handicap company, he should be the one they all have to beat.
