Race 7
CLASSIQUE LEGEND missed out on his hat-trick when finishing second in a Group 2 race over this trip last time out, two lengths behind the winner. He hit the front at the 250M and was only outrun late. From draw six and having his peak outing here, he could be the one that they all have to beat. GYTRASH is drawn one outside the top choice and has won two of his last three starts, the latest when winning a Group 3 sprint over five furlongs. He was not stopping in that victory and on that effort, he should have no issue going over the extra ground. NATURE STRIP renews his rivalry with the top pick after finishing just over two lengths behind him in their last clash in the race mentioned above. As the pair meet on the same weight terms today that results look like it should be confirmed, but it should be noted that the latter returned with mucus in his trachea that day and a form reversal may be possible.

Race 8
SCARLET DREAM is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys. Although finishing eights in her last outing over a mile, that was in a Group 3 race and that appears to be over a distance short of her best. She did finish fourth over twelve furlongs three runs back and from her handy draw three, she is taken to be the value bet on today’s card. STAR OF THE SEAS also steps up in distance after finishing eleventh over a mile in a Group 1 event, 3.2L back from the victor. If taking to the extra ground, he looks to be the immediate danger to the former. QUINTESSA is a 4yr old filly who struck the front at the 300M mark and was only collared in the shadow of the post to end up fourth, just a head behind the winner in a blanket finish. She has a wideish draw nine to negotiate, but she should be included in all bets.

Race 9
PATHS OF GLORY has solid staying form to his name and finished fifth last time out, four lengths behind the winner in a Group 1 race over twelve furlongs. He was denied a clear run until the 220M mark that day and should have finished closer to the winner as a result. He jumps from gate five and with better luck in running today, be is made the best bet on the program. SHE'S IDEEL is a 5yr old mare taking on males. She won her last outing over ten furlongs by a short-head and although having to overcome draw nine, she could threaten the top selection. BRIMHAM ROCKS finished just 0.4L behind the top choice in his last start in the same race mentioned above and is 1kg better off at today’s weights. That would normally be enough for the tables to be turned, but the latter may be less suited to the extra ground that the former and as such, is taken to finish behind him once again.

Race 10
Three 4yr old fillies could dominate the finish to this race and complete the trifecta. MIRRA VISION is seldom far off the action and jumped awkwardly in her last outing over six furlongs before finishing second, just over a length behind the winner. She was making good late progress that day and despite having to face gate ten, she should be right up there when they hit the line. BEST STONE has an even wider draw at gate twelve. She went from jump to wire to win her last start, beating the former in the process, but she is now 2kgs worse off at the weights and a form reversal appears to be on the cards. DANCING GIDGET followed up her penultimate run victory over 1500M with a fourth-place finish next time out over this distance, two lengths off the victor. She was hampered between the 350M and 250M mark that day and although draw out wide at gate fifteen, she is likely to be dropped out of the race early and should be picking off the frontrunner in the dash down to the wire.

Race 4
TIME FOR VICTORY has only had the two runs to date, but he overraced in the early stages before finishing fifth over six furlongs, three and a half lengths behind the winner in his second outing. His jockey put up 0.5kgs overweight that day, but he nevertheless did make good late progress. From his handy draw two, he could be the one to side with today. GREAT TYE returns from a 27-week break, but he has finished second in both of his barrier trials to prove his fitness. He finished fourth on debut over six furlongs and jumps from gate six. ABROGATION showed marked improvement to finish fourth in his latest outing over five furlongs, 3.4L off the winner. He will have to negotiate a wide draw of 13, but he is likely to be dropped out of the race early and should be doing his best work late.

Race 5
Two 3yr old fillies could fight out the finish to this race and complete the exacta. TIME FOR PEACE has finished second in her last two runs, the latest when just over three lengths behind over five furlongs. She was only outrun in the latter stages and from draw seven, she looks to be the one that they all have to beat. HIGH TRIBUTE returns from a 27-week break, but has had the benefit of two barrier trials, the latest of which was encouraging. She showed the expected improvement in her second career outing to end up in third place, 2.6L behind the victor. She is drawn one outside the top choice and could be her biggest danger. WILLY WILSON had finished second in his last three runs prior to finishing fifth in his latest start over six furlongs. He has his first run since an 18-week rest but has not had the benefit of a barrier trial so his fitness will have to be taken on trust. He is sure to put his pole position to good use.

Race 6
EGYPTIAN MISSILE is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she is going for her hat-trick here after winning her last start over 1280M. She put four and a half lengths between herself and the opposition that day and was not extended over the latter stages. She jumps from gate seven and is taken to be the best bet on the day’s card. NOBLE SOLDIER also goes for his trio of victories having won his last outing over six furlongs by half a length. He is drawn one inside the top pick and looks to be his immediate danger. TESSERA was slightly disappointed last time out after recording two second and one third-place finishes in his last three runs. He is drawn in gate four and should be involved in the finish.

Race 7
A 5yr old mare and a 4yr old filly could dominate the finish to this contest and secure the exacta, but the day’s value bet, SWILLING is the clear top selection. She was a jump to wire winner of her last start over this distance when three lengths ahead of the chasing pack. From gate three, she may prove good enough to complete her double here. BOOM AND ZOOM stayed on after racing three-wide to end up fourth in her last outing over 1425M, four and a half lengths adrift of the winner. She has gate six and should be right up there when they hit the line. GLOBALIZE showed solid improvement when making good late progress to end up second in his last run over a mile, just under three lengths behind the winner. He will jump from draw two and should not be lightly dismissed in this line-up.

Race 5
PLUCK AND LUCKY showed good improvement when running on well despite not having the clearest of passages in the home straight to finish a head behind the winner last time out over six furlongs. She is drawn the widest of them all in gate thirteen, but given her style of racing, this may not be a big issue. PINK BEAU has a kinder draw six and finished third in her last outing over this c&d, nearly two lengths off the victor. She will get 3kgs taken off her back thanks to her claiming apprentice a could be the biggest danger to the top choice. PIZZLY won her maiden race last time out over six furlongs when returning from a 15-week break. She jumps from gate nine and should be included in all bets.

Race 6
WICKED WILLY showed marked improvement when ending up in second place last time out over six furlongs, two and a half lengths behind the winner. He hit the front entering the straight and was only run out of it over the final 100M. The gelding starts from gate seven and should be right up there when they hit the wire. AEROBATIC WARRIOR has only had the two runs to date, finishing third on debut over five furlongs and then winning by a length next time out over this c&d. He will have to negotiate a wide draw 11, but he could emerge as the biggest threat to the top pick. EUROAIRE raced wide into the straight before finishing seventh over the c&d, over five and a half lengths adrift of the winner. He is drawn in gate nine and should nevertheless be respected in this line-up.

Race 7
SENSACOVA is a 7yr old mare taking on the boys. She showed solid improvement to finish second in her last outing over a mile, 1.8L behind the winner. She attempted to go from jump to wire that day and is sure to appreciate the drop in distance. She has a handy draw three and is taken to be the value bet on the day’s card. BROTHER BASSY finished tenth last time out over six furlongs, but has his peak run here and is likely to appreciate the extra ground on offer today. SPIRIT OF ELIJAH is drawn one outside the latter and finished seventh in his latest run over 1450M at this venue, but the blinkers are removed today and he could well do better as a result.

Race 8
SKYE BANNER made good late progress to win by nearly a length on debut over five furlongs and could be just about anything. He faces a wide ten draw, but he would have learnt from the experience, and with the natural improvement that can be expected, he looks to be the best bet on the program. LADY PATRICIA is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she has cracked pole position and finished fourth on debut over 900M and then followed that up by winning next time out over five furlongs by some 3.2l. She finished well that day and looks to be the immediate danger to the former. COZHECANCAN had his consistency rewarded with his maiden win by two lengths last time out over six furlongs. He faces stronger here, but from gate six, he should be involved in the finish.
