7/10 Mumbai Indians | Royal Challengers Bangalore 11/10

Mumbai Indians are a team who traditionally kick on at this point of the tournament while Royal Challengers Bangalore have often faded when it really matters in years past.

Both sides have three wins in their last five, and the side that comes out on top in this clash will fancy their chances of claiming a spot in the first qualifier.

Quinton de Kock leads the scoring for the defending champions MI while RCB's runs King is Virat Kohli. De Kock has scored fewer runs than Kohli but crucially has scored at a quicker rate than the India skipper.

Crucially MI have three bowlers among the IPL's top-ten wicket-takers in Jasprit Bumrah (17), Trent Boult (16) and Rahul Chahar (13) against the one RCB representative Yuzvendra Chahal (16).

Verdict: Mumbai Indians

KKR have been on a form rollercoaster throughout the tournament but will need to do better than 50/50 to get into the playoffs.

CSK haven't fired on all cylinders, but they have plenty of dangerous players in their ranks and come into this match off the back of a victory over RCB at the weekend.

Sam Curran has continued to prove himself an impact player as the young Englishman shows off what he can do on the franchise T20 scene. By contrast, KKR's big-name players have all too often been anonymous in IPL 13.

Kings XI Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals
Friday 30 October 2020 - 16:00
Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

To Win Match
8/10 Kings XI Punjab | Rajasthan Royals 1/1

Any discussions of form in the IPL right now must lead to the Kings XI Punjab who have gone on a tear since bringing in Chris Gayle to back up leading run-getter KL Rahul.

The Rajasthan Royals must prevent KXIP from making it six from six in order to keep their own slim hopes of a playoff cricket alive.

Gayle has given the Kings XI renewed confidence even if he hasn't precisely single-handedly won matches for the franchise. The Royals have seen their marquee star Ben Stokes achieve that last time out in an ominous sign for their royal opponents.

Jofra Archer has been incredible with the ball for the Royals while Mohammed Shami has underlined his reinvention as a T20 bowler for the Kings XI.

Verdict: Kings XI Punjab.
