Race 6: No3 - BRIANSTORM
Trainer: Venetia Williams - Jockey: Charlie Deutsch

With limited experience of jumping fences, BRIANSTORM is a fascinating contender for this handicap chase on a return from a second wind operation. The nine-year-old is making just a fourth start for his trainer after his intended comeback race last week was lost to the weather.

Race 7: No8 - MISS FAIRFAX
Trainer: Hughie Morrison - Jockey: Tom O’Brien

From a yard that excels with its distaffers in the bumper division, MISS FAIRFAX is the subject of favourable reports and can make light of her inexperience to give plenty of trouble to point winner Ballybough Mary.

Race 2: No4 - MELODY OF LIFE
Trainer: Andrew Balding - Jockey: David Probert

MELODY OF LIFE put in a couple of eye taking efforts on the all-weather before Christmas and is proven on the Polytrack surface. The Dark Angel colt has the points on the board, with La Tihaty respected as one that could cause him a few problems.

Race 3: No8 - HEY HO LET’S GO
Trainer: Mark Hoad - Jockey: Luke Morris

Had he timed his run later in the contest, HEY HO LET’S GO would almost certainly have scored over course and distance last week. That was a second near-miss within a fortnight, and signals he’s on the cusp of a deserved return to the winner’s circle.

Race 7: No2 - DEVIZES
Trainer: Pat Phelan - Jockey: John Egan

DEVIZES raised his game to finish second to Cafe Sydney here last month, posting his best effort of the year in first-time cheekpieces. A similar or slightly improved effort should be sufficient to see the Dubawi gelding break his duck.

Jockeys Ride Horses

Trainer: David Evans - Jockey: Charles Bishop

Course and distance winner BLUE MOONRISE makes a swift reappearance and can taken out this novice stakes for her in-form stable. The Gutaifan filly is in the zone and ready to consolidate.

Race 6: No3 - CHOOSEY
Trainer: Mick Easterby - Jockey: Paul Mulrennan

CHOOSEY is well drawn for this return to a course where he’s won once in three visits. His latest two efforts here have in fact been underwhelming, but he’s enjoyed a little respite from the assessor and is capable of bouncing back.
