EAGLE ALLEY was ultra-impressive when winning his last start over a mile on this course. The manner in which he drew clear in the latter stages was eye-catching. The son of Silvano takes on much stronger today, but he looks to be loaded with ability and may be up to the task at hand.

The son of Duke Of Marmalade would have gained from the experience and will enjoy the extra furlong on offer. With the natural progression that is expected, he should be the one to side with.

BANHA BRIDGE is the value bet on today's card. He showed some signs of a form return in his last start over seven furlongs on this course. The manner in which he stayed on at the business end was encouraging. The son of Flower Alley will love the step up in distance and with S'manga Khumalo in the saddle, he should go close to winning.
