He showed good speed that day, but found one too good in the form of Cold Fact. The son of Act Of War looks to have ability and should be the one to side with.

INFORMATIVE showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 1200m. He showed good pace that day and stayed on well at the finish. He has finished second twice and third once from six starts over this distance. He should strip much fitter and with Muzi Yeni retaining the ride, he should be the one to beat. He is carded to race on 23 January 2021 and his progress in that race will need to be checked.

PAMUSHANA'S PRIDE followed up his maiden win with a good third-place finish over this distance at Turffontein. Despite jumping outwards at the start, he stayed on well at the business end. With a bit of luck from his wide draw, he should take a power of beating.

Jockey: Khumalo S - Trainer: Gray St John D

ROMEO'S MAGIC followed up his maiden win with a good second-place finish over a mile. The manner in which he ran on at the finish was impressive. The son of Elusive Fort will enjoy the extra furlong on offer today and with S'manga Khumalo back in the saddle, he should find himself in the winner's enclosure.

Jockey: Gates J - Trainer: Nieuwenhuizen

HOTTENTOTS HOLLAND was ridden to perfection when winning his last start over seven furlongs. He set the pace that day and fought back well. It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from that form line. Jason Gates retains the ride and from pole position, he may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.
