Neil Morrice brings us all of his best bets and tips from Sunday's racing coming your way from DONCASTER, ASCOT and CARLISLE 

DONCASTER

Race 2 No1 GURU (Nap)

Trainer: John Gosden - Jockey: Adam Kirby

GURU got home by a whisker on a Newbury debut that has worked out, and can be forgiven a subsequent flop at Kempton where he didn’t appear to act on the Polytrack, but could have simply had an off day. He returns with abundant confidence behind him and can take the spoils on the way to better things.

Race 8 No7 CARAUSIUS (Each Way)

Trainer: Charlie Hills - Jockey: Kieran Shoemark

As the least experienced runner in the field, CARAUSIUS has scope for plenty of improvement on a return to turf. He landed some good bets to open his account at Southwell and hails from a stable that’s made an encouraging start to the year.

ASCOT

Race 2 No1 CASCOVA (Nap)

Trainer: Nicky Henderson - Jockey: Nico de Boinville

CASCOVA will get few more straightforward opportunities to open his account, with his defeat by Sonny Crockett at Newbury having been given a boost. He appeared far more at home on that drying ground,and can be followed to live up to his early career reputation through the com8ng weeks.

Race 4 No12 IRON HEART (Each Way)

Trainer: David Pipe - Jockey: Fergus Gillard

Having run well in each of his five starts since arriving at Pond House, IRON HEART reacted positively to the addition of blinkers to get home in a driving finish with Java Point at Newbury. He competes from a competitive mark towards the base of the handicap and offers good each way value.

Race 6 No8 SINGLEFARMPAYMENT 

Trainer: Henry Oliver - Jockey: Adrian Heskin

SINGLEFARMPAYMENT has his share of quirks and is difficult to win with, but remains well handicapped on some of his old form. He is given a final chance to regain winning ways against mainly out of form rivals.

CARLISLE 

Race 4 No11 CENTRAL FLAME ( Each Way)
Trainer: J Walton - Jockey: Conor O’Farrell

Veteran CENTRAL FLAME has turned back the clock and returned to a level of form that gives him a strong each-way chance in this middle distance chase Final. His recent course and distance triumph over Well Above Par reads well and gives him strong claims for another earning run.

Race 5 No5 STORM NELSON (Nap)
Trainer: Sandy Thomson - Jockey: Ryan Mania

Having skipped a good opportunity last week, STORM NELSON can follow-up his clear cut Ayr success from the start of the month. That was the gelding’s first start from Sandy Thomson and also his first with his tongue tied down. This looks a tougher assignment, but he’s been lightly raced over the last couple of seasons and has room for progression.

Race 6 No12 DAMIENS DILEMMA
Trainer: William Coltherd - Jockey: Sam Coltherd

DAMIENS DILEMMA comes into his own on the better ground as he showed with back-to-back successes last autumn and a couple of recent near-misses. He rarely attracts any market interest and could be a live each way proposition in this competitive Final.
