Khama Billiat’s protracted transfer saga has finally been brought to an end after the attacker was unveiled by Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League side Yadah FC on Thursday.

Billiat will be aiming to resurrect his playing career since his much-publicised departure from Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.

Billiat departed the Soweto giants at the expiration of his contract in June 2023.

The 33-year-old has been at the centre of a protracted transfer saga since, where he had been previously linked with a contract extension – on reduced terms with Chiefs – before being linked to a host of DStv Premiership sides such as Cape Town City.

The Zimbabwe international had been initially tipped to join Dynamos FC. But in a transfer twist joined rivals Yadah FC.

To commemorate his transfer, Yadah gifted Billiat a Land Rover Defender as a bonus.

The former Chiefs attacker was then unveiled in a lavish ceremony by his new employers.
